Anthony’s musical career started at the tender age of eight with the songs of Slim Dusty, Barry Thornton and Lindsay Butler ringing in his ears, joining his first band at 12.
Anthony has had a significantly successful career to date. He has backed, toured and played on the albums of some of Australia’s most notable country performers including Adam Harvey, Corinna Cordwell, Barry Thornton, Lindsay Butler and Reg Pool.
In Anthony’s role as Musical Director and Lead Guitarist of the extremely popular and successful family band, “The Sherrahs” Anthony again worked with some of Australia’s top acts. Artists included Karen O’Shea, Michael King, Owen Blundell, Brian Letton and Craig Giles. The band also gained much notoriety on the nation wide circuit when The Sherrahs released 'Keep in the light' on ABC country and followed up with ‘Reason and Rhyme’ in 2002.
Since 2001 Anthony music ingenuity has been utilised as the Musical Director for South Australia’s premier country music event, the South Australian Showcase.
Always keen to expand his musical horizons in 2005 Anthony joined the reformed Jessie Che Band as the Lead Acoustic Guitar and Mandolin player.
